Enjoying the Sunshine

The last couples of days we've had some sunshine.
The sun has been a rare sight this January,
so we've been trying to soak it all in.

Today while preparing our picnic lunch
we saw this outside our window.

And McKay being the little boy
who loves anything with wheels
just had to go outside and check it out.

We watched the men load
all three cars onto the truck.
It was actually quite fun to watch.
But, I don't think that's ever a job
I would want to do.
A couple of times I thought the drivers
would drive right off the truck.

After watching the cars get loaded up
we went out back to eat lunch and enjoy the sun.

On the right is McKay's
first tree climbing experience.
It's not much, but it's a good start.
I look forward to many scraped knees
from his future tree climbing endeavors.

It's suppose to rain the next couple of days.
We will miss you Mr. Sun.
However, splashing in puddles can be fun.

Looks like a beautiful day up there! I'll bet McKay will remember seeing those cars for the rest of his life-he'll probably say one day "Remember when we watched those cars getting loaded onto that trailer, Mom?" Childhood is magical - Love, Mom Frank

I love his little sunglasses! Too cute. Glad to hear someone is enjoying the sun. It's been nice here and there, but being laid up I just open the door and bask in the sun.

It's funny how when the sun comes out in the winter everyone flocks outside, even if we're all bundled up in our coats.

Aw how cute is that picture of him in the tree! That just made me realize we dont really have any around where we are that are climbable. Something i loved doing as a kid.
