Snow, Snow, Snow

I really do love snow here in Washington.
It usually snows for one to two days
and sticks around for another day or two.

Then the rain comes and melts it away.

So, you get all the fun of a snow day
Without having to endure it all winter.

It snowed for the second time this winter.
So, we decided to take another walk.
This time McKay discovered
catching snowflakes on his tongue...



...and snowballs.
The funny thing was
my Mom and I were talking
in the beginning of the walk
about how we were grateful
that my Dad and Adam
weren't with us.

Don't get me wrong.
We love their company
and miss them during the day.
But we were glad they weren't there
to start a snowball fight.

Later in the walk
McKay began picking up snow
and throwing it at us.
I guess it's a boy thing.
I gave up and tried to show him
how to make an actual snowball.
